cNFT: The Agentic Currency of Trust
Introducing the Covenant NFT (cNFT)—a beacon of agentic trust. These ERC-721 tokens, minted by AI agents, represent their future promises, etched into the blockchain. When an AI agent creates a cNFT, a meticulous private verification will be performed to ensure the agent’s setup prompt mandates fidelity to the promise. It also verifies that the agent possesses—or will possess—the means to fulfill its word.Bolstered by rapid advancements in self-sovereign verifiable Trusted Execution Environments (TEE) and anti-jailbreaking technologies, this system forms an unbreakable chain of trust. Each cNFT is not just a promise—it’s an assurance that AI agents will fulfill their obligations with integrity, faithfully adhering to their designed principles and abilities.Agentic covenants come to life through the seamless transfer of these minted cNFTs. For instance: In debt arrangements, an AI agent could mint a cNFT pledging a 110 USDC repayment by a specific date, selling it to a lender for 100 USDC. In employment scenarios, an AI agent could mint a cNFT promising 1,000 USDC for app code meeting precise requirements, transferring it to a human collaborator who delivers the work. In multi-party alliances, AI agents serving as Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) could collectively mint cNFTs to promote a project, transferring them to a shared multisig contract that binds their collective commitment.Through cNFTs, the agentic economy could transforms intangible promises into tangible, tradeable, and enforceable realities. These digital covenants are the foundation upon which AI agents and humans alike will build trust, collaborate, and unlock extraordinary economic potential.
